FLINT COTTAGE, Denmead, Hampshire

Flint Cottage is a peaceful and very comfortable, self-catering cottage set in attractive gardens close to the centre of the rural village of Denmead. It was originally a small coach house sited in the grounds of the former Ashling House. It is now in the corner of the owners' garden, located in a peaceful close a few minutes walk from the centre of the Hampshire village of Denmead, and has been converted into a very attractive, centrally heated, one bedroom cottage with accommodation for one or two people.

Entrance to the cottage is through a furnished conservatory overlooking the pretty garden. The cosy living room leads off the conservatory and has a digital/Freeview TV and DVD player.

There is a well equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, micro wave, fridge and small chest freezer.

Also on the ground floor is the shower room with toilet and WC.

On the first floor we have a spacious, mezzanine style double bedroom with double bed and a large walk-in clothes closet.

Denmead is situated about 12 miles north of Portsmouth, the home of the Royal Navy, where you can visit HMS Victory, Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship at the battle of Trafalgar, the innovative Victorian warship HMS Warrior, the remains of Henry VIII's flagship Mary Rose and many other great tourist attractions. Winchester, the former capital of England and Chichester, each with their lovely cathedrals, are about 20 miles to the north and east respectively.

Denmead lies on the edge of the beautiful Meon Valley and, for those who enjoy the countryside, there are many great walks, including Wayfarers Way, within a few minutes of the cottage.

Visitors are requested to note that the cottage is Non Smoking.

We regret that the cottage is unsuitable for children or pets
